I grew up in dentistry. I’m a third-generation dentist and a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon, working across both hospital and private practice settings.
From early on, I saw how much patient care depends on clear communication between practices—and how broken that process still is.
Important information lived on paper, updates required phone calls, and patients were often left waiting while offices tried to connect.
What frustrated me most wasn’t the people—it was the tools. Dentistry still relies on outdated software and manual workflows that make communication gated and inefficient.

Periodontist & Oral Pathologist
Sindi is named after my grandfather, Dr. Surindar Bhaskar—“Sindi” was his nickname. He was a two-star general in the US Army, an oral pathologist, and a periodontist who dedicated his career to advancing dentistry. He believed dentistry should be collaborative, evidence-driven, and supported by systems that enable better care—not hold it back.
